In addition to nutrition, we hope seniors visiting the Senior Dining Sites
will enjoy social contact with people with similar interests. When & Where:
Meals are offered every weekday 11am-12pm at
the following locations...
- Ellenville, Trudy Farber Building, 845-647-1605

- Saugerties, Robinson Street, 845-389-3476
In addition to:
- Kingston, Broadway & Hoffman Street, 845-336-7112 opened Monday,
Wednesday & Fridays from 11 am - 12 pm
- Town of New Paltz Community Center opened every Thursday,
from 11 am - 12 pm, 845-255-2512
- Reservoir United Methodist Church, Asokan opened the 2nd &
4th Tuesday of every month from 11 am - 12 pm, 845-657-5107

Guidelines:
- Please call the location between 10am and 2pm the day before so we
are sure there are enough meals for everyone. If you have reserved
a meal and cannot attend, please call the location 24 hours in advance.
- There is no set cost, but a suggested amount of $3.00/meal
contribution is requested to help defray the cost of the program. Cash, checks or
money orders are accepted.
- If you need general nutrition information or information about meeting needs of
a special diet, please call our Registered Dietitian at 845-340-3456.
Eligibility:
To attend Congregate Senior Meals you must be an Ulster County resident
age 60 years and over.
Home Delivered Meals
Eligibility:
To receive Home Delivered Meals you must be 60 years of age and over, homebound
and a resident of Ulster
County who is unable to prepare their own meals of have meals prepared for
them.
To Apply:
Anyone may make a referral by calling central intake at 845-334-5125
and giving essential information such as address, phone number, medical
contact and reason requesting meals. A home visit by the Office for the
Aging or the Department of Social Services caseworker is required before
the start of delivery meals
Nutrition Counseling
Nutrition counseling is available at the dining sites or to homebound
seniors by a Registered Dietitian For more information call 845-340-3571
