Services:   Benedictine Hospital is licensed by the NYS Office of Mental Health and certified through the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization to operate a 37-bed inpatient mental health unit for adults within the general hospital facility. The Mental Health Department is also responsible for the 24-hour/day, 7 day/week emergency mental health service, as well as a 15-bed psychiatric Adult Partial Hospitalization program and a 10-slot Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (ages 13-18). The goal of the Partial Hospitalization program is to divert or shorten an inpatient stay for patients needing acute care.

Payment for Services: Medicaid, Medicare, private third party insurance, out of pocket payments.

The patient's hours of attendance for Adolescent Partial Program are 6 hours/day,  5 days/week,  Monday thru Friday. The program is open 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; closed on major holidays.
