BLANKET REQUEST: Certified Nursing Assistant (Non-Competitive) (Permanent: Full-Time, More-Than-Half-Time, Half-Time) (Benefited Positions) LOCATION: SALARY: $12.52 Per Hour CONTINUOUS RECRUITMENT: January 29, 2007 – December 31, 2007 DISTINGUISHED FEATURES OF THE CLASS: The work involves the performance of routine yet responsible paraprofessional patient care duties in accordance with a generally prescribed routine. Primary duties of this position include direct personal resident services, including safety, comfort, personal hygiene or protection services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse. Does related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Certification by the New York State Department of Health and listing in the New York State RHCF Nurse Aide Registry as required by Ten (10) NYCRR (B) (7).
Note: Certified Nursing Assistants must attend at least six (6) hours of compensated in-service education every six (6) months.
