BLANKET REQUEST: Laborers (Eleven Positions) (Seasonal, Full-Time, Non-Benefited, Non-Competitive) LOCATION: Ulster County Department of Highways and Bridges SALARY: $10.00 Per Hour CONTINUOUS RECRUITMENT: January 9, 2007 – December 31, 2007 DISTINGUISHED FEATURES OF THE CLASS: The work involves responsibility for the performance of manual and unskilled work. The work is carried out in accordance with established procedures and involves heavy work requiring physical endurance. The work is performed under the direct supervision of a higher level employee. Supervision of others is not normally a function of the class. Does related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: None.
Special Requirement: Incumbents who operate motor equipment must possess an appropriate level New York State Driver’s License.
