BLANKET REQUEST: Laundry Worker (Non-Competitive) (Permanent: Less-Than-Half-Time) (Non-Benefited Positions) LOCATION: SALARY: $10.35 Per Hour CONTINUOUS RECRUITMENT: February 2, 2007 – December 31, 2007 GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Cleans and reconditions linen and other fabrics in a laundry; does related work as required. DISTINGUISHED FEATURES OF THE CLASS: This is routine work involving responsibility for the regular and correct performance of tasks assigned. Duties require some knowledge of laundry machines and appliances and familiarity with the uses of laundry materials and equipment. Work is performed under continual supervision and the finished product is carefully examined for adherence to work standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: None is required.
