Applications received or postmarked by the Spring Last File Date will be scheduled for the Spring Test Date.  Applications received or postmarked after the Spring Last File Date and by the Fall Last File Date will be scheduled for the Fall Test Date.  Applications received or postmarked after the Fall Last File Date will be scheduled in 2011.

 

HOW TO APPLY:  Complete an Ulster County Application for Examination or Employment.  Use a separate application for each examination number (indicated above).  Photo copies of the application are acceptable, however, each application MUST have an original signature.  Applications may be obtained at the Ulster County Office Building, Personnel Department, 5th Floor, 244 Fair Street, Kingston, New York OR by mailing a request to P.O. Box 1800, Kingston, New York 12402-1800 (include a stamped, self-addressed, legal-size envelope - be sure to supply enough envelopes/postage if applying for more than one examination), OR at our website at: http://www.co.ulster.ny.us/personnel/index.html .  Applications must be received or postmarked by the last file dates listed above.

 

FILING FEE:  A twenty dollar ($20.00) filing fee is required for each examination number. (Exception: Uniformed Protective Services Titles require a forty dollar ($40.00) filing fee.  Send your check or money order (made payable to COUNTY OF ULSTER) with your application. Please include the examination number, title, and applicant’s name on your check or money order.  DO NOT SEND CASH.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.  (Exception to fee requirement: See individual examination announcement.)
