Todd announced today that Hudson Valley Datanet has installed and connected a new high speed, broad band line to the Woodstock Dispatch Center and has made its service available in Woodstock. "Many businesses, especially smaller home based businesses, will now have access to a faster line, and this will give them higher speed service," said Todd. "Ulster County is moving steadily ahead in this field and we will now be more competitive with neighboring counties in the area of communication." "In addition" continued Todd, "Hudson Valley Datanet has connected the Woodstock Dispatch Center to Ulster County’s 911 Aided Dispatch System. This will assure better emergency dispatch service for the Town of Woodstock." |
