Senior Yoga Program

Legislator Alice Tipp, General Services/Community Services Chairman and OFA Director Kathryn Puglisi jointly announced that a Senior Yoga Program will be offered by OFA and sponsored by Wellcare. The classes will begin on Thursday, January 27^th at 11:15 am at the First United Methodist Church, 57 Vineyard Avenue, Highland, NY at the OFA Senior Dining Site.

The classes will be one hour in duration, and participants are invited to stay for a luncheon. Please call the site manager, Ronald Kline, at 691-6114 Monday through Friday from 10:00 am-2:00 pm in advance if you plan to stay for the luncheon or for further information.

The classes will be taught by Kathy Carey and Susan Blacker, both certified Yoga instructors. This is a gentle yoga program that is safe for seniors, both men and women. There is no cost for the classes.
