Gerald Benjamin, Chairman of the Ulster County Charter Commission, has announced that the next meeting of the Commission will be held on Monday, January 24, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. in the Dean’s Conference Room located on the 10th Floor of the Jacobsen Faculty Tower on the campus of SUNY New Paltz. The public and media are urged to attend.

Included on the agenda will be guest speakers Legislature Chairman Richard A. Gerentine, as well as Majority Leader Michael Stock and Minority Leader David Donaldson. Other guests making up the panel of presentations consist of various individuals who are either currently or formerly involved in local government and politics, including: Ulster County Democratic Party Chairman John Parete; Ulster County Chamber of Commerce President and former Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature, Ward Todd; City of Kingston Mayor, James Sottile; New York State Assemblyman, Kevin Cahill; and Ulster County Commissioner of Jurors and former Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature, Richard Mathews.
