The Golden Hill Health Care Center is
a 280 bed skilled nursing facility operated by the County since 1931.
The Facility primarily serves the needs of the community's elderly population
needing long term residential nursing services. However, recently, the
Facility has increased its range of services to accommodate seniors who
require restorative rehabilitation therapy in a residential setting and
who anticipate returning to their home after a short rehabilitative stay.
All 280 beds are Medicare and Medicaid certified which allows residents
secure payment options for the care they need whether their stay is long
or short term. In addition to physical, occupational and speech therapy
as part of a restorative rehabilitation program, the Facility offers a
wide range of other clinical services which maintain and promote health.
The Facility also recognizes those with special health care needs and
has a designated 40-bed unit for residents with Alzheimer's disease. The
Facility's mission is to provide the best quality of life and care for
all residents we serve.
