The Housing Consortium is comprised of representatives
of more than two-dozen private businesses, Ulster County government
departments, and private not-for-profit development and human service
agencies. Its mission is to provide a cooperative and collaborative
environment in which all persons and entities can work together to
effectively and efficiently garner and use resources to execute safe,
decent, affordable housing and related support services which meet the
diverse housing needs of Ulster County residents. In addition, the Housing
Consortium is the official advisory body of the Ulster County Legislature
on housing issues and housing development in Ulster County.
