The Ulster
County Traffic Safety Board is mandated by the New York State Department
of Motor Vehicles. The Board is comprised of 12 voting members and one
Chairman. Reporting to the Ulster County Legislature, Public Safety
Committee and New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, the Board is
charged with promoting and overseeing traffic safety throughout Ulster
County. The Board is a member of the Governor's Traffic Safety
Committee, New York State Association of Traffic Safety Boards, and the
Ulster County Police Chiefs Association.
