The
Ulster County Resource Recovery
Agency
is a public benefit corporation that was formed for the purpose of
developing, financing, and implementing a comprehensive County-wide Solid
Waste Management program.
The
Ulster County Resource Recovery
Agency
offers the following services:
- Transfer Station:
- Contractors
and businesses can bring waste and recyclables to either of the
County's two regional transfer stations.
- Roll-Off Rentals and Transportation:
- Available for construction and demolition debris, renovations, and cleanups in
Ulster
County
.
- Recycling Services:
- Scrap
metal (including appliances and tires) can be brought to the
Agency's regional transfer stations. Other recyclables including
cardboard can be brought to the Materials Recycling Facility (MRF).
Transfer Station Tipping Fee Schedule (effective April 1, 2011)
- Residential/Business
Self Haulers: $100 per ton (minimum $20/load)
- Licensed
Commercial Haulers - packer trucks: $83 per ton
- Licensed
Commercial Haulers - Roll-Off Containers: $83 per ton
