STANDARD & POOR’S AFFIRMS ULSTER COUNTY’S LONG TERM BOND RATING
Posted October 26, 2010Kingston, NY- Ulster County Executive Mike Hein is pleased to announce that Standard & Poor’s has affirmed Ulster County’s AA- bond rating. This announcement comes on the heels of the release of the County Executive’s proposed budget that included a 0% tax increase. Additionally, his administration saved $10.4 million through his "Taxpayer First" initiative, which was instituted earlier this year.

Kingston, NY – Ulster County Executive Mike Hein invited advocates for domestic abuse victims to the Ulster County Office Building to join him in proclaiming the month of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Ulster County. The County Executive believes that bringing awareness to the devastation caused by domestic violence is the first step in preventing it from happening.
